TITLE: HUNTERDON COUNTY NEWS ENDORSES LANCE FOR CONGRESS - PETERSON FOR FREEHOLDER AND KEVIN CIMEI FOR CL TWP MAYOR

HC - It appears to the HC NEWS that these are the three most contested races in the County tomorrow and we are backing the following candidates for the following simple reasons -

Leonard Lance - If we - as Hunterdon Residents -  want to have direct representation in congress Leonard is our home grown man. He has been in various positions, senate - assembly - to give him the needed experience to become one of those capital hill animals. He will stick up for us in times of need, and how could we want anything more than that in a district that spans far to the east and if one of those people gets in Hunterdon may never be heard from again.

Eric Peterson for Freeholder -   While the current Freeholder Director is oft to long winded on the dais there is no disputing one fact, and that fact can be said about one percent of politicians throughout out country, while campaigning for his first term as freeholder he made several promises about what he was going to do when elected. You know the rhetoric that you hear all the time, I'm going to keep taxes in check, I'm going to make the office more ethical, I'm going to help out veterans, Well fancy this, Peterson said all these things and then he did them, and did them with spirit and dedication to a point where as a politician its almost shocking. EP is doing a good job, and how often do you get to say that.
